“I’m honored to have received the Michigan Accountancy Foundation Scholarship, which has allowed me to pursue my Master’s in accounting. As a first-generation college graduate, I’m pursuing my dreams as well as my parents’. My mom wanted to be an accountant but was unable to afford the education she needed. By achieving this dream myself, she’s able to achieve hers vicariously through me.”

“Receiving this scholarship means a lot to me. I have paid/taken loans out for my first 4 years of college, and it is such a relief to not have to do that for my last year here at MSU. I am now able to focus on my schoolwork and CPA exam studying, instead of worrying about how I will finance my education. Thank you for supporting me in continuing my education.”
